I have worked security at the Alaska State Fair; I've also been on the organizing committees for the original Greater Anchorage, Inc. (GAO) Renaissance Festival; Loon Days Fair, Deer Park HS Christmas Crafts Fair and have planned, organized or been a consultant on over 40 successful events, educational demonstrations and dinners for organizations ranging from the American Legion; the Freemasons; the Society for Creative Anachronism, Inc.; the Alaska Air National Guard; the U.S. Air Force and the National Services Association.

 I am also an accomplished fiber artist, seamstress, machine embroiderer and quilter. I dabble in lampwork, painting, ceramics, pottery and just about anything artistic that catches my interest! 

 I teach a variety of artforms including wet/needle/nuno felting, silk painting, spinning, weaving, lampwork, cake decorating and basketry.
